Introduction to Automations

Last updated April 29, 2026 ยท 1 min read

What are Automations?

The Automations module gives our users the ability to create rule-based actions based on a trigger, conditions, and a date range to automate routine tasks, simplify daily workflows and improve team efficiency.

Our Automations module is a centralized component, allowing our users to create smart actions to drive outcomes across our platform's different features/components.

*At the moment, automations are restricted to review actions and profile updates, but our team is working towards including many more components with Automations.

How to manage Automations?

  • From the overhead navigation panel, select Automations
  • Click on All automations
  • To create a new automation - click Setup Automations.
  • From the 2 automation types that you can create - select the desired option.

Explaining the 2 Automation types

Time-based automation - Create these automations to schedule an action or a repeated task based on a time interval. - example: update website URL in the last week of every month or dispatch a performance report every Friday.

Event-based automations - Create these automations to schedule an action based on the occurrence of an event. For example, auto respond to 1-star reviews or receive email alerts when you receive new reviews
